Devi Bhawan is a heritage hotel located in the heart of Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India. The hotel boasts of traditional architecture and design, with a modern touch that makes it perfect for a lifestyle photoshoot for Om Home & Garden. We have had a personal relationship with Devi Bhawan for years and were therefore delighted to have the opportunity to collaborate with them on this photoshoot.
The location was perfect for us, as our new collection is all about blending traditional Indian design with contemporary style. Devi Bhawan's majestic architecture, combined with its beautiful gardens and stunning views, provided the perfect backdrop for our furniture pieces. From ornate wooden doors to intricately carved stone walls, every corner of the hotel added to the beauty of our photoshoot.
The shoot took place with a team of talented photographers who worked tirelessly to capture the beauty of our products in this stunning location. The team was led by our creative director, who had a clear vision of what she wanted to achieve with the shoot.
On the day of the shoot, we focused on capturing the essence of the hotel's heritage and its beautiful landscapes. Our furniture pieces were placed in different settings, such as a traditional Rajasthani-style courtyard, the stunning pool area and an open-air lounge area. The aim was to show how our furniture pieces could fit seamlessly into different lifestyles and spaces.
The natural stone walls at Devi Bhawan, with their intricate handcrafted engravings, were a perfect match for our handcrafted Indian furniture items that also feature natural materials and handcrafted engravings. The engravings on the walls and furniture pieces created a beautiful synergy, highlighting the craftsmanship and attention to detail that goes into each piece. The natural stone walls and our furniture pieces made from materials such as teakwood created a harmonious balance.
The antique wooden doors, called "haveli" doors, at Devi Bhawan were a perfect complement to our handcrafted Indian furniture items. The haveli doors, with their intricate handcrafted engravings and historical significance, showcase the beauty and grandeur of traditional Indian architecture. At Om Home & Garden, we share this appreciation for traditional craftsmanship and also emphasize sustainability in our designs. We often use recycled materials to create our furniture items, and the haveli doors at Devi Bhawan beautifully illustrate the potential of recycled materials in furniture design.
